We are now closed for the winter period and will reopen before Easter 2023.

We would like to thank all the visitors to our lighthouse this year, and we hope to see some of you back again in the future.

Unfortunately due to essential helicopter operations, the lighthouse and visitor centre will be closed to the public between 19th & 28th September inclusive.

Our apologies for this but we are a working lighthouse and maintenance works are required.

We are closed today due to the weather conditions.

We hope to reopen tomorrow, Monday 27th, at 10am (1000hrs).

Our apologies for the short notice, but unfortunately we were missed off the loop regarding this work.

We will re-open as normal on Friday 10th June 2022

Due to more visitors than usual we are experiencing delays and queues to gain access to the lighthouse and the island.

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes, and we are working with our guides to try to improve things during these busy periods.

Please bare with us during our busy periods, and our kiosk staff will give the latest information as they are in radio contact with the guides on the island.

Finally we see some light at the end of the tunnel, and the repair works are comp lete.

We have a few days of cleaning up  and preparing to do, and this means we are aiming to open to the public as from Monday 16th May 2022.
