Customer Notice – waiting times and ticket availability

Due to more visitors than usual we are experiencing delays and queues to gain access to the lighthouse and the island.

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes, and we are working with our guides to try to improve things during these busy periods.

Please bare with us during our busy periods, and our kiosk staff will give the latest information as they are in radio contact with the guides on the island.

Customer Notice – Opening Update May 2022

Finally we see some light at the end of the tunnel, and the repair works are comp lete.

We have a few days of cleaning upĀ  and preparing to do, and this means we are aiming to open to the public as from Monday 16th May 2022.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding, and our guides look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Unfortunately due to the winter storms, the lighthouse and island will be closed to visitors during April whilst building/repair work is carried out.

We will reopen as soon as possible.

Will post updates as the situation changes.

Visit to South Stack / Ynys Lawd by pupils from Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi 12th Nov 2021
